When do GTA 6 pre-orders go live?
Rockstar Games has confirmed that GTA 6 pre-orders open on June 25, 2026 at 10:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM ET. This applies to all major retailers — Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, PlayStation Store, and Xbox Store — simultaneously. The game itself launches on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Where to pre-order GTA 6
Five major retailers are carrying GTA 6 at launch. Each offers slightly different bonuses:
- Amazon US — Release-day delivery, no in-game bonus
- Best Buy — In-game content bonus (details TBC)
- GameStop — Steelbook + in-game content (best for physical collectors)
- PlayStation Store — Pre-load access + platform perks (digital PS5)
- Xbox Store — Pre-load access + platform perks (digital Xbox)
For digital buyers, your console's native store is the simplest path. For physical copies, GameStop offers the best bonus package with the steelbook case.
How much does GTA 6 cost?
Rockstar has confirmed four editions:
- Standard — $69.99. Base game. Everything you need to play at launch.
- Deluxe — $89.99. Base game + Vice City bonus pack (3 vehicles, 2 outfits, $500K in-game cash).
- Premium — $109.99. Deluxe + Story DLC pass (2 episodes) + Online starter pack + $1M in-game cash. Best value for players who know they'll play the DLC.
- Collector's — $199.99. Premium + Steelbook + Vice City map poster + Collector's statue + soundtrack vinyl. Limited stock expected — expect sellouts.
Should you pre-order or wait?
For the Standard and Deluxe editions, supply will likely be plentiful — you can safely wait for reviews. For the Collector's Edition, pre-ordering the moment it goes live is critical. Collector's editions of major Rockstar titles historically sell out within hours and never restock at retail price.
The Premium Edition is the best value if you're confident you'll play the DLC and Online. The included DLC pass alone justifies the $40 premium over Standard.

If you don't yet have a PS5 or Xbox Series X, several retailers will offer console bundles that include GTA 6:
